Around Greensboro, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across North Carolina are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

Was told by my dentist that I potentially needed a root canal last week. I just had a root canal procedure done today. I was very nervous about the procedure but there was minimal to no pain, Madison and Dr. Schweizer were fabulous. They both were very informative, intelligent, and kind. The front desk staff was great as well. Highly recommend!

I have bad anxiety when getting any dental work done so I was borderline panic attack when I walked in for a root canal. However, everyone was extremely welcoming and as soon as the dental assistant noticed I was nervous she stepped into therapist mode to help. I'm super hard to numb but I felt absolutely nothing during the procedure and I left feeling a lot better about getting heavy dental work in the future. If you need a root canal, I cannot recommend this place and their endodontists enough!

I've always heard you better just go ahead and pull that tooth versus the nightmare you'll go through with a root canal procedure. Every worst scenario was played in my head when my dentist in Danville recommended just that for a cracked molar that I had with a cap on it. The only reason I considered the option was the trust I had in my dentist. He said he was going to send me to the best group that he knew would do a great job and was very knowledgeable in their field. Boy was he right! Right from the start when scheduling the appointment I could tell these folks were on top of their game. I got appointment reminder calls and once arriving at the office met with friendly faces and calming voices. After filling out brief paperwork I was quickly taken back. Once reexamine to confirm this tooth was a candidate for the procedure the staff was kind by stepping out to inform my waiting husband what was about to happen and approximately the time involved. Sharon was assisting Dr. Egan during my visit and I COULD NOT have dreamed up a better team!!! They both were very informative and compassionate about my concerns. Their commitment to doing their best was apparent and all fear subsided

Dr. Hagood and his staff are truly professional and the best at what they do. I felt their complete competence from the moment I walked in the door. Every touchpoint was perfect, and I highly recommend this practice to anyone needing endodontic work.

Going on my third visit with Piedmont Endodontist, I thrill to have Dr. Colin Egan and his assistant (Haven) to provide retreatment to a root canal. The experience was very efficient, painless and professional with no concern. Dr. Egan was very generous, pleasant, and very professional with explaining the procedure and treatment. Haven truly provided an awesome procedure care that put me at total ease with complete satisfaction. I highly recommend Piedmont Endodontist services to friends and fellow veteran. Thank you for the military support. Retired Army Veteran
